Velocity Global (Pebl) Employer of Record pricing
Published price
$399 per employee per month
Velocity Global (Pebl) lists its Employer of Record plan at that price. The third lowest of the nine vendors here that publish a price.
What employing one person in Brazil through Velocity Global (Pebl) costs
On top of the salary, Brazilian law makes the employer pay 20 percent social security (Lei 8.212/1991 art. 22) and 8 percent into the worker's FGTS account (Lei 8.036/1990 art. 15). Velocity Global (Pebl) charges its fee on top of both.
Not included: the Christmas bonus salary the law also requires, which this site cannot yet check against the statute, plus benefits and any currency conversion fee.
And in the United Kingdom
A UK employer pays 15 percent National Insurance on pay above a yearly threshold, and at least 3 percent into the worker's workplace pension, both set by the government on gov.uk. Velocity Global (Pebl) charges its fee on top.
This slightly overstates the cost: both rates are worked out here on the whole salary, while the law applies them only above a threshold or within a pay band. Not included: holiday pay rules, benefits and any currency conversion fee.
